My Game Dev Journey

My journey with game development started back in 2015 where I made simple games in Microsoft’s free game development frame work XNA at Exeter College. It wasn’t until 2017 when I decided to switch my career by enrolling in University of the West of England Games Technology course.

Throughout my 3 year course I learned about C#, C++, AI, Unity, Unreal Engine, Networking, Virtual Reality, DirectX 12, Commercial Game experience and 3D environments, 3D Math and Design Patters. During my time at University I lead many group projects which I feel helped develop my understanding on cooperative work environments and helping others.

More recently, I worked with Oakrot Games, a Small Game Studio, a role I took on in 2021. I contributed to a Game Called Fishing game, my first project to ever be released commercially on steam.
